ONTO Contributes to the “From Industry to Art” Project

ONTO has taken part in TAİDER’s “From Industry to Art” project, marking a meaningful collaboration in the field of sustainable design. As part of the initiative, students from Istanbul Technical University’s Industrial Design and Interior Architecture departments will create aesthetic, functional, and environmentally sustainable products using waste materials provided by participating companies.

Throughout the process, students will engage directly with the companies to receive feedback and explore new approaches to production and sustainability.
During a visit to ÜÇGE’s main factory, students were given insights into the production processes, examined waste materials on-site, and learned about architectural approaches to next-generation office design. The event, hosted by Chairwoman of the Board Damla Aras, Corporate Communications Manager Sevgi Yalçın, and Environmental and Sustainability Specialist Cem Şen, provided a valuable platform for interaction focused on sustainability and innovation.

Expressing ONTO’s pleasure in participating in this unique project, Damla Aras said, “We believe that young people’s innovative perspectives will make valuable contributions to the business world. We are delighted to collaborate with future designers in transforming industrial waste into aesthetic and functional designs.”

Bringing industry and art together through a sustainable lens, the project aims to inspire the world of design with a strong sense of environmental responsibility. At the same time, it fosters interaction between students and the industrial sector, raising awareness around sustainable production and the circular economy.
